its amazing how some of us are really being deceived.  when in fact the proof is right in front of us with theses teachings....goodness where looking right at it: The KJV bible vs. other translation bibles  twisted.  I hear people "believers" debating... Wow God's word is true explaining to us about this coming to pass and still believers dont believe it!  he said it would happen it's frightening to me to hear or read certain believers not believing that KJV is sound teaching.  I dont know all the ends and outs of knowledge on the subject but it sure is obvious the omitting, adding to changing away from the truth.  letting go of the KJV, I sure am afraid for you all who do.  My prayers are for you, May God open the eyes of your heart and that you would not be offended as I was.  When I first heard of all this it made me angry and afraid because I didnt understand how God can allow this, but he didnt allow it. He knew it would happen because of our fall and he loves us so much that he wants to warn us. Let's not be offended or angry about this, but let's be encouraged to do your research and pray for the Lord to give you understanding of the truth.  Its just the way it is, may the Lord open our hearts and may we be willing to receive his truth about these false doctrine translations.  Let's stay close to the KJV bible a pure gospel so that we may not be deceived and bring many to the Lord.... when I discovered about this I kept the KJV bible with me while I read or heard ministers teach from other translations.  The more I did this the more I discovered that it is true; the KJV bible is pure and correct, try it out for yourselves.  You will notice the difference!  well... blessings!

Newer versions are bibles that are watered down so to take away the effectiveness of the scriptures. They are weakened for the purpose of creating weak Christians. They are all part of the plan of ecumenism to make a weak church that will eventually take ecumenism the second step toward a merging with other religions to form a one world religion.

Greg, your attacking Gails' marital status is evidence you don't have the truth. When someone can't effectively prove error to anothers findings, they attack the messenger, for they have no truth to attack with.

I was first introduced to Gail Riplinger in January when I began researching the "KJV Only" controversy.  I asked a pastor (who was a KJV Only gentleman) to recommend a good source for me to look into and he suggested Gail Riplinger! I can honestly say that I approached the subject with an open mind, willing to hear out both sides.  But my conclusion, upon researching the claims that Gail made, was that her work was untrustworthy.  She lies, manipulates, and twists truths to fit her argument. Scores of examples could be provided but one should suffice for this comment.  In her book New Age Bible Versions, she paints B.F. Westcott to be a heretical monster who denied the Trinity and had deep connections with the occult.  Part of her argument includes Westcott admiring the writings of Plato, an ancient Greek philosopher.  She cites his work to prove that he was influenced by Plato's writings more than a Christian man should be.  What she FAILS to mention is that the name of the chapter she was quoting from is entitled "MYTHS OF PLATO" in his book about the DEVELOPMENT OF RELIGIOUS THOUGHT IN THE WEST.  It was not a book of his doctrines or personal convictions.  It was not a theology text book.  It was a scholarly book which I am currently reading and it does NOT state that Westcott actually BELIEVED anything Plato subscribed to.  He even said that Plato took things too far and was often wrong.  Is that what Riplinger says he believed?  Of course not.  She skewed his words because he's been dead for years and she didn't think that anyone would think to double check her sources.  She is a liar and lying is not a fruit of the Spirit.

+Daniel Stowers Question: "What is the KJV Only movement? Is the King James Version the only Bible we should use?" Answer: Many people have strong and serious objections to the translation methods and textual basis for the new translations and therefore take a strong stance in favor of the King James Version. Others are equally convinced that the newer translations are an improvement over the KJV in their textual basis and translation methodology. GotQuestions.org does not want to limit its ministry to those of the "KJV Only" persuasion. Nor do we want to limit ourselves to those who prefer the NIV, NAS, NKJV, etc. Note - the purpose of this article is not to argue against the use of the King James Version. Rather, the focus of this article is to contend with the idea that the King James Version is the only Bible English speakers should use. The KJV Only movement claims its loyalty to be to the Textus Receptus, a Greek New Testament manuscript compilation completed in the 1500s. To varying degrees, KJV Only advocates argue that God guided Erasmus (the compiler of the Textus Receptus) to come up with a Greek text that is perfectly identical to what was originally written by the biblical authors. However, upon further examination, it can be seen that KJV Only advocates are not loyal to the Textus Receptus, but rather only to the KJV itself. The New Testament of the New King James Version is based on the Textus Receptus, just as the KJV is. Yet, KJV Only advocates label the NKJV just as heretical as they do the NIV, NAS, etc. Beyond the NKJV, other attempts (such as the KJ21 and MEV) have been made to make minimal updates to the KJV, only "modernizing" the archaic language, while using the exact same Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. These attempts are rejected nearly as strongly as the NKJV and the other newer Bible translations. This proves that KJV Only advocates are loyal to the King James Version itself, not to the Textus Receptus. KJV Only advocates have no desire or plan to update the KJV in any way. The KJV certainly contains English that is outdated, archaic, and sometimes confusing to modern English speakers and readers. It would be fairly simple to publish an updated KJV with the archaic words and phrases updated into modern 21st century English. However, any attempt to edit the KJV in any way results in accusations from KJV Only advocates of heresy and perversion of the Word of God. When the Bible is translated for the first time into a new language today, it is translated into the language that culture speaks and writes today, not the way they spoke and wrote 400 years ago. The same should be true in English. The Bible was written in the common, ordinary language of the people at that time. Bible translations today should be the same. That is why Bible translations must be updated and revised as languages develop and change. The KJV Only movement is very English-focused in its thinking. Why should people who read English be forced to read the Bible in outdated/archaic English, while people of all other languages can read the Bible in modern/current forms of their languages? Our loyalties are to the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments, written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Only the original languages are the Word of God as He inspired it. A translation is only an attempt to take what is said in one language and communicate it in another. The modern translations are superb in taking the meaning of the original languages and communicating it in a way that we can understand in English. However, none of the modern translations are perfect. Every one contains verses that are at least somewhat mistranslated. By comparing and contrasting several different translations, it is often easier to get a good grasp on what the verse is saying than by only using one translation. Our loyalty should not be to any one English translation, but to the inspired, inerrant Word of God that is communicated by the Holy Spirit through the translations (2 Timothy 3:16-17). +Diane Evans "we should all be reading from the same scripture." Not so ... it's not a proven point ANYWHERE for those of us who are using a receptor language which the original languages have been translated into - the NT writers at time quote from the LXX, or paraphrased the LXX, or quote the Hebrew, translating it into Greek on the fly. You can't keep saying a version "takes away" something just because it isn't in the KJV. That is an assumption which cannot be held without investigation. The KJV sometimes differs with Erasmus' TR and follows one of the other TR editions. It is not provable that the KJV is the starting point from which the rest of the reasoning continues.  Your comments above show you have never studies the issue of translation between languages beyond KJVO material which does not stand up to the slightest scrutiny. None of the KJVO mythology about translation methodology or the transmission of the scriptures is factual. You need to study some objective history. More than that, you need salvation because you are in a cult. Too, because you speak evil of the Bible (except one p[articular version you idolise), you have committed the unpardonable sin. Until you repent, your blasphemy against the Spirit who inspired the Bible means you are excluded from pardon, and salvation is withheld from you. You need to repent. I'm blocking you now because I'm here to help people before they end up like you.

Nick Giorgione the only thing a man can give away and still keep is His word...you stated preiviously that was your last comment...so no wonder you wont answer about acts 8:37... now you use Jesus as you pervert His Word...Jesus was asked a question, He then said I will answer if you (pharisees) will answer whence came baptism of John, God or man? and since they didn't answer thats when Jesus said He wouldn't either... I will answer any question you have but you will not, and try and look like Jesus but act like pharisees....Judgment seat of Christ will be rough for me too...hope you are there.

She's very brilliant and God is really using her to get this info out. Praise the Lord. That's amazing where she says taking words out of the book is also taking names of people hidden in plain sight out of the book of life. Is that maybe why Jesus said he did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it and that not one jot or title would be removed? Wow! This does help us to confirm what we see going on in the many churches and the Pope. Trying to bring all together so that the AC can be the king of the nations. Not the saints. NIV revisions of the "Name" I think is to appease the Jews, HaShem. They hate the word "Lord".

TO NIVis Reliable:.............I read the NIV 2011.   I have read the NIV since the NT was first introduced and then the whole bible when it was completed.   I was amazed at the NIV's readability and at the same time, it's accuracy.   Many people dedicated much of their lives to scholarship which enabled this translation. I thank God for them and for the NIV translation.
Connor Ham
I'd also like to point out that if it's true that "the older the version, the better," than that would mean that there are literally hundreds of Bible translations that are BETTER than the King James!  The KJV is by no means the oldest translation.  Not even in English!  There would be at least half a dozen other English Bibles better than the KJV.
