During these times all the TV shows wanted us to mime the entire performance which we were reluctant to do. A compromise was reached with the shows we finally performed on.

We went into the studio and did a special TV mix. We muted the lead vocal and some of the background vocals . We also muted a few instruments .

On the show Cory's lead vocal , piano , hi-hat , toms , Stony & August background vocals are live. The bell hop singers in the background , horn section, Vibes , Guitar , Bass , most of the Drum kit, Percussion , synthesizer are miming. Notice also that you hear but do not see strings.

BELLHOP SIDEBAR: The Bellhop background singers were just hired for the show.
- Debra Anderson (left) went on and became part of the disco group Stargard.
- Lynda Seals (right) has worked with various artists including Friends of Distinction, Lola Falana, Bill Cosby, Abbe Lane, Johnny Mathis and Helen Reddy

The intent of this post is anthropological and not to make profit. It is strictly to share with fans and the periodic visitors to this planet from other galaxies a part of the musical history of the aforementioned musical group.
