Sheet metal CNC punching of top gear trays for UK light fittings, http://www.vandf.co.uk/plant-list/tru... This video nicely shows the component / waste chute feature on a Trumpf 3000R CNC punch press where the unwanted sheet metal blanks from the middle of the lighting top tray are punched free from the inside of the component sheet metal and allowed to drop through the bed of the machine and down into a waste collection bin below. This feature allows for a quick removal of the middle section of the component without any tags to remove or stopping the machine in the cycle to remove the waste material. This is typical flexibility of a Trumpf CNC punch press producing sheet metal work from our production factories in Fareham, Hampshire, UK.
