Thanks for viewing! On this chilly Family Day Monday, I decided to head over to Bayview, since I hadn't been there in nearly a month. Highlights included CN 370 with a newly-acquired C40-8W, a BC Rail C40-8M, an SD70M-2, and an IC SD70; CN 422 meeting VIA 97 (Amtrak 63) at Hamilton Junction, as well as VIA 6444 leading nearly the same consist as the one which derailed at Aldershot East on Sunday, February 26. The derailment sent the first coach into the back of a building, the next two into a ditch, and the engine into a ditch, which is currently still laid on its side next to the tracks. The derailment killed the two engineers, as well as a trainee, all of whom were in the engine at the time. My sincerest condolences to the families and friends of the three, as well as those of anyone else injured on the train. Enjoy!
