Philly Net Tuesday on June 4 was all about the world of social audio. When and why are audio productions and podcasts a great way to express your cause? Who are using these tools successfully today and how? What sort of equipment do you need? How do you actually produce a compelling audio production? How do you get it out there to the world?
These and other questions were explored and demonstrated by a panel of local practitioners, moderated by "Podcast Steve" Lubetkin, and including Madeline Schaefer, podcaster and Fellow at the American Friends Service Committee, Whitney Hoffman, producer of the Learning Disabilities Podcast (LDPodcast) and Peter Crimmins, arts and culture reporter for WHYY-FM radio, the NPR affiliate in Philadelphia.
