Description
I've always wanted to touch lives with words. To me, touching and words are synonymous. Spoken and written words can wound what a loving human touch can heal. And human hands can wound what a loving spoken and written word might also heal. The scriptures have endured because The Word carries both kinds of healing. In 1976 I received both in order to share the light of The Gospel. My true bio began that year and continued to my becoming a poet, teacher, counselor, missionary, pastor, radio personality, college president, writer and editor, columnist, speaker at conferences, and an author.
Writers always hope that readers enjoy and benefit from whatever they have put their hearts and souls into words. This is my hope as well. Of course, I want you to enjoy my poems. But most of all, I'd like for you to benefit by knowing that all of the proceeds from your buying this book will contribute to many non-profit charities, including John Knox Village—a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community in Pompano Beach, Florida.
