Google seems like the best friend you can imagine. He is always there for you, he can entertain you for hours, he helps you when you are lost, and last but not least: he knows it all and has an answer to every single stupid question you throw at him.

However, sometimes you may have the feeling there might be some substantial differences between the way Google thinks, and the way you think. That Google becomes yesterday's news, and ZEEF becomes your new best friend.

ZEEF is the self proclaimed ‘(r)evolution of online search’. Effectively it is a search engine that provides you with the search results you need, not by using algorithms, but with the help of old skool human knowledge. People curated the ultimate list for the thing you are looking for.

Because where algorithms are fast and easy, they are also limited. They can’t tell you anything about the quality of the content that appears in the search results list. This is where ZEEF makes a difference. People with a passion for a certain topic step in as a curator and make a list of their specialty. For example: Roan Verhoef is a true Lego Lover, so he created a ZEEF list that enables you to find the best websites to buy Lego.

Good to know: Roan is not the only one who can become a curator. You can as well and you are free to submit extra website suggestions per topic. One minor little thing: there is no function for Googling stupid questions yet. Guess we are still partially dependent on our ex-bestfriend.
