Mumia was a young journalist for the Black Panthers in the late '60s. Twenty years later in Philadelphia he was blamed for the murder of a Police officer on dubious grounds and committed to Death Row. The one and only last, full interview from Mumia abu Jamal on Death Row was made in 1997 by the fiba team. The producer, George Solomos knew Mumia through his links with the MOVE. The interview was by Allen Hougland, film edited by Tom Filmyer. Mumia continues to be a voice for the oppressed although still imprisoned. Justice Denied is the documentary that tells the whole story. More at http://www.fiba-filmbank.org/ and at http://www.freemumia.org/
