This session will: 1) Compare, contrast and explain some of the top software packages including: Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Jing, and uTipu. 2) Explain the best teaching and learning practices for creating videos for online learning. Best practices include the principles of multimedia, contiguity, modality, coherence and redundancy. 3) Combine the best practices with the technology and show examples of how video tutorials can be used to enhance and improve learning for students and faculty.
