Its about 230am CDT on 4/5/2012 -- and now we see NEW tornado alerts, warnings, and watches issued for Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. A lot of people are asleep right now.. This is why having a severe weather plan (AND KNOWING IT WELL) is a good idea.. you may be awoke in the middle of the night with a natural disaster on your doorstep, and have NO IDEA a tornado warning has been issued for your area.

Damaging winds can appear at a MOMENTS NOTICE .. or without ANY notice sometimes... which is why you should practice your severe weather plan, have the supplies you'll need ready and stowed away.. make sure any children or elderly know the plan, if you have animals... think of them too !

use the link below to access dozens of weather monitoring sites so you can keep track of this next line of severe weather.

States to watch.. Central/South Arkansas, Central/South and East Louisiana, Central to South Mississippi... Central to South Alabama.. Central to South Georgia.. panhandle of Florida. Damaging winds, Hail, and possible tornadoes are associated with this next system.
