The Scorp damaged truss has been removed from the tail and moved to the ground so we can assess the damage and figure out what the hell to do to get the scorp tail repaired.
The truss was damaged when the tail was being deployed. The VR Fork Lift was pulling instead of just lifting and one of the hydraulic ram valves was opened at a crucial moment. The two simultaneous actions led to the tail being dynamically loaded, "bounced", which drove the ram through the truss. We didn't know that the truss was damage so when we were activating the ram to make sure everything was working it was peeling apart the truss like a fat kid opening up a snicker bar.
