Lisa Gade reviews the Dell Venue 11 Pro Windows 8.1 tablet with a 10.8" full HD IPS display. The tablet weighs just over 1.5 lbs. and is 0.4" thick (Intel Atom model 5130) or 0.6" thick (Intel Core-i5 7130 model). We look at the Intel Atom Bay Trail model with the 1.46GHz quad core Z3770 CPU with Turbo Boost to 2.4GHz. The tablet runs full Windows 8.1 32 bit with 2 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of eMMC storage (Core i-3 and i5 models have 128 or 256 gig SSDs). The tablet has a wide color gamut display that's very bright, dual band WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. 3G/4G is optional. The Venue is one of the very few tablets with a removable battery. We review it with the optional keyboard dock that adds a secondary battery and the Synaptics digital pen. Prices start at $499 for the Atom model and the Core i5 model is $899. The keyboard, pen and dock accessories are sold separately. ** Watch our video review of the Venue 11 Pro keyboard and case here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNkB5...
