Jaz here! And I got some great news!
June 20-27, TSG.tv's gang of intrepid gamers will broadcast their week-long Pokémon marathon! We'll be catching every available Pokémon across several generations. It's all to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) but we need YOUR help to get those donations to this worthy cause!
All week we'll be playing all of the compatible Pokémon games, from the GBA titles to the new X and Y games. And this catching frenzy will go on 24/7, so tune in at any time for some Pocket Monster fun!
What's more, you can donate to nickname the Pokémon we catch, and you can get into bidding wars to nickname legendary Pokémon. Have a special name in mind? Get those donations in and tell us what you'd like!
We'll also have other fun stuff, such as a "Pokémon Ranch" poster that we can fill with drawings of whatever you want. Not to mention we'll pull a lot of funny stunts and pranks on the players and commentators!
We also have a ton of great prizes to give away. Artwork, games, toys, and more! We're even auctioning off boxed copies of Pokémon Red and Blue, signed by Nob Ogasawara, the man who translated all the Pokémon games up to the fourth generation! Yes, the man who brought us "I like shorts" and "the top percent of Rattata"! And what's more, we'll also be auctioning off the very Game Boy he used during the translation process! Join us for the auction for your chance to win this one-of-a-kind piece of history! And join us for an interview with Ogasawara himself! We'll ask him all sorts of questions about what it was like to translate one of the greatest game series of all time.
Remember, 100% of the donations go DIRECTLY to the charity. We keep none of it! We're just here to put on a show and have fun. So help us make this a successful marathon by donating to this important cause!
