For Nuit Blanche à Montréal 2011 the Visual Voice Art Gallery transformed itself into an "idea incubator" where artists and the general public sketched out their ideas on the gallery's walls and tables covered in chalkboard paint. At about 2:30am artist Lys-Ange Leblanc popped into Visual Voice with a fan and a large transparent plastic balloon. For his spontaneous performance piece he inflated the balloon in the gallery, and as soon as it was fully inflated allowed the piece to collapse. For Leblanc this "bubble" signifies each person's loneliness, as well as their comfort zone.
