In Episode 9, acclaimed producer, percussionist and composer Karsh Kale travels with guitar virtuoso Baiju Dharmajan to the sleepy town of Angadipurram in the southern state of Kerala. There, they write and perform 'Sacred Science' with Njeralathu Harigovindan, a master of the edakka drum who runs the world's only temple devoted to percussion.

The Dewarists is a new original series. Part music documentary and part travelogue, the show features inspiring musicians collaborating to create original music while traveling to locations across India.

Possibly the most interesting piece of the season.
each of these musicians were fiercely unconventional, yet pristine to their approach they could bring out a culmination of art , philosophy and tradition . music was just the cement .. . truly universal ..
