Footage from the October 31, 2015, Edge of Space Sciences balloon launch. EOSS 214 attained an altitude of over 100,000 ft before bursting and returning to ground. From it's launch in Deer Trail, CO, EOSS 214 flew about 50 miles to the southeast before landing just east of Hugo, CO.

The full flight path of EOSS 214 is available via APRS data transmitted by the balloon payloads at:

Video was taken by a STEM School and Academy Amateur Radio Club (ARC) payload carried on the balloon. STEM ARC Payload 2 carried a GoPro Hero3 which recorded the footage. STEM ARC had two other payloads, an oscillator to test sound propogation at altitude, and a s'mores payload for some post-flight enjoyment.

STEM ARC Mentor: Paul Veal
STEM ARC Student Project Manager: Grayson Gerlich

A big thanks to the entire STEM ARC team!
