Ram Dass interviews Cambodian buddhist monk, Maha Ghosananda, about mindfulness. This monk brought mindfulness to the Cambodian refugee camps. When he works in the world, he is protecting himself because everyone is him. The monk says mindfulness is always in the present. Use the breath to get into the present moment. People want peace and mindfulness creates peace. Buddhist rely on self to find enlightenment, not God. These Buddhists help others based on their karma.
