"Someone's junk will be someone else's treasure."

Mr.Prakash and his wife Punita has a collection of finest heirlooms of Tamil Community and Peranakan in their house in Georgetown, Penang. They live in an apartment with a space of ​​750 square feet filled with antiques that have been collected by them for the last four years. Although the space in their house is too limited, it does not prevent their spirit and desire to find more antiques from various part of Malaysia. They both began to collect antiques in 2009 and now the number of items has reached almost to 1,400, which is considered a big achievement for the couple. They also have a blog called 'Tamil Treasure' to showcase their diverse collection of antiques.

The couple had the determination to open a special Tamil community museum in Georgetown heritage site and display their collections there in future . The couple seeks public and state government's co-operation to build such a muzeum in Penang since Tamil community has a 200 year old history in Malaysia.
