A Mother's Cry For Her Baby

A cow whose baby is taken from her screaming at his direction with longing and pain.

In every factory farm, cows are artificially impregnated in order for their bodies to produce milk.
After giving birth, they are immediately separated from their babies.
Female calves will become, like their mothers, a milk production machine.
Male calves will go to the meat industry.

The video footage was taken by Lilach Luria in March 2014 at Hakfar Hayarok dairy farm in Israel.
