To celebrate the 41st annual JUNO Awards, taking place in Ottawa on 1 April 2012, The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has partnered with the National Gallery of Canada to pair great Canadian art with great Canadian musicians. Eight JUNO Award winners and nominees visited the National Gallery in Ottawa and chose artworks with particular meaning to them.

Vocalist Kellylee Evans has continued to evolve her distinctive sound with her 2011 JUNO Awardwinning release Nina, a tribute to Nina Simone. Her energy-charged live shows have led to opening spots for George Benson, Tony Bennett, Chris Botti, Maceo Parker, and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.
