Freeserve founder Ajaz Ahmed on entrepreneurism

Ajaz is best known for being the founder of Freeserve which was once the UK's largest ISP and is now known as Orange broadband. He came up with the idea when he bought a computer and nobody in his store could tell him how to get into the internet, the rest as they say is history. Freeserve was floated by Dixons and eventually sold for £1.6bn to France Telecom.

He held the position of Business Development Director until April 2001 and left following the sale to pursue other business interests. He has a number of investments which he is actively involved in, his latest venture is Legal365.com, he also sit on the advisory board at the University of Huddersfield Business School and Government Regional Development Agency Yorkshire Forward.

Here he talks about his approach to business, being an entrepreneur and seeking investments in companies that are challenging the market.
