CyclingSavvy (http://cyclingsavvy.org) is a new but extremely successful cycling training program. It offers participants the opportunity to gain the skill and confidence they need to use a bicycle as an unlimited means of travel.
Eli Damon is a CyclingSavvy instructor from Easthampton, Massachusetts, who is working to bring the CyclingSavvy program to the Pioneer Valley region of Massachusetts. As part of that effort, he applied for a grant from the Greater Springfield Community Health Network Area (CHNA#4) to take four students from the Pioneer Valley to attend a CyclingSavvy class in Portlant, Maine, which he would co-teach. This video tells the story of that class, including its effect on the four Pioneer Valley graduates.
