Horse Drawn Promotions - Breaking horses to harness. http://www.horsedrawnpromotions.com/
The 5yo horse (Quigley) was broken as a pair and single before coming to us - the 4yo horse (Wilson) had only been driven a few times as a pair. They had not been driven for a year prior to coming to us, so we had them in to retrain, school them on and break the younger horse to drive as single. They were driven on either side of the pole, but as Quigley is smaller he was mainly driven on the offside. We had to work on their head carriage - Wilson was also quite nervous as well as being hard-mouthed; we drove them both in rubber bits and then switched to Liverpools in the latter stages of training so that we could transition them to the bits their owner would use in competition. This film shows what they achieved during their time with us, being driven as a pair, single and for the first time as a tandem, then driven by their owner at the end of the film.
