Husted "Opens" Fire

Dave Husted steamrolled four opponents by a total of 224 pins to capture the $131,000 BPAA U.S. Open Championship and his first pro title.

Husted rolled 1,011 for four games, defeating Frank Ellenburg, 269-200, Charlie Tapp, 258-189, Earl Anthony, 229-188, and top-seeded Gil Sliker, 255-180.
