They call it the Reed Dance or in Zulu, "UMKHOSI WOMHLANGA" it takes place every spring and is the highlight of the Zulu calendar. Held in Nongoma near the Royal House of King Goodwill Zwelethini, the Reed dance is a sight that is rare in Southern Africa and anywhere else on the planet for that matter. It's an event that could form a focal point of South Africa's flourishing Cultural and Heritage Tourism Sector.
