jika sebuah silinder pejal bermassa m, jari-jari r ,mempunyai momen inersia I= 1/2mr^2 gaya gesek antara silinder pejal dengan bidang miring f, sudut kemiringan bidang terhadap horizontal θ, dan percepatan gravitasi g, maka :
1. Komponen gravitasi sepanjang sumbu x:w_x = mg sin θ
2. Komponen gravitasi ssepanjang sumbu y: w_y = mg cos θ
