Stardust - (Parish - Carmichael)

The Boswell Sisters, vocal
Victor Young and the Brunswick Concert Orchestra.

Brunswick A 5106 - 20100 B - (a 12 inch - 30 cm record !)
New York City 1931.

This is a very different interpretation from the wellknown "Stardust" song performed by the higly professional Boswell Sisters.
The accompanied orchestra exists mainly out of very accomplished Jazz musicians, like :
Victor Young, (arr, cond.) Bunny Berigan, Bob Effros (tpt) Tommy Dorsey, (tbn) Jimmy Dorsey, (cl, as, bar) unknown (as) Larry Binyon, (cl, ts, fl) Joe Venuti , Harry Hoffman, (vln) Arthur Schutt, (p) Eddie Lang,( g) Joe Tarto, (sb) Hank Stern, (bbs) Larry Gomar, (vib) Chauncey Morehouse, (d) .

I hope some "Stardust" will fall on Jurek46Pink for all the professional and artistic video's he produces on his YouTube channel, wich gives a lot of pleasure and entertainment to many of his visitors !
It's no wonder that some people try to imitate him, but it is too bad that they are all of inferior quality ...
