The sheer dress with batwing sleeves and heavy lace applique along the neck would have been in Dan Werle's Beverly Hills boutique, which he operated in the 1950s and '60s.
Werlé was most famous for the dresses he designed for actress Loretta Young to wear on her television show, "The Loretta Young Show" which aired on NBC betwen 1953 and 1961. It was he first and longest running anthology drama series to feature a female star as host.
