Over the next couple of years, Echa plans to work more closely with sector industry associations to ensure better information on chemicals passes up and down the supply chain. The aim of the work is to ensure appropriate risk management measures are implemented, says the agency’s director of risk management Jack de Bruijn.

In an interview during Chemical Watch’s recent Global Supply Chain Summit, Mr de Bruijn says that upstream supply chain communications is working quite well, but more work is needed further downstream.
