This clock seems to differ from all other Bulle Clocks I have seen all over the internet because the "anti-reverse pawl" that is present on those types is completely different on this one. The anti-reverse is a very simple gravity-controlled ratchet.
the clock needed quite some setting-up before this would work accurately (count 1 tooth per pendulum cycle) but we did it and it runs like a charm on a Zinc-Carbon battery.
Alkaline cells give too much power, slammed the coil to the magnet support brackets!!
