This video will give you two different examples that deals with finding the average and solving for a variable given an average (arithmetic mean). These are two different examples taken from retired ACT and SAT math tests. These questions always appear on the exam so watching it will help you prepare for your standardized test.

Definitions:
Average/Arithmetic Mean: a number expressing the central or typical value in a set of data, in particular the mode, median, or (most commonly) the mean, which is calculated by dividing the sum of the values in the set by their number.
