We live in an interconnected, global society. Today's youth will be working in this global marketplace that requires them to compete, connect, and collaborate with people around the world. To be successful in the 21st century, all students need an array of educational opportunities to become globally competent -- both during the school day and beyond. Participants will learn how these concepts can be embedded into programming that is already occurring in your afterschool curriculum. Tips and tools will be shared that will allow staff to hit the ground running with ideas and strategies. This is the first in a series of webinars offered by the Northeast Statewide Afterschool Networks funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation for 2013-14.
