Here's some old video footage of Santa Fe and Southern Pacific trains in Cajon Pass at Devore, back in August 1994. This video features a good amount of Southern Pacific action on the Palmdale Cutoff line. One of the SP trains broke down, so he took half of the load up Cajon Pass, came back down, then took the remainder of his train back up with a few more engines in the lashup. While he was broke down and waiting for some other train traffic to clear, we got a chance to chat it up with the engineer! Nice older guy! He even let us go into the cab, although I don't have any video of that unfortunately, just pictures.
I don't have too many shots of Southern Pacific trains in my old video collection. It's mainly all Santa Fe and Union Pacific. I may have a few shots here and there, but pretty much this is all I have for the good old Southern Pacific Railroad.
