This video is of a speech team practice when I was a sophomore at Peoria High School. Looking back on this, it's pretty obvious that I was heavily influenced by local (i.e. Peoria) media; I sound depressingly like Antonia Gonzales of National Native News--always sounding happy, even when I'm talking about death. Oh well... I'm trying to put in in perspective: I was less than a month past my sixteenth birthday, not being paid to do this for a living, and I'm pretty sure I got to be a lot better by my senior year. Sadly, no video footage of that exists (at least not in my possession). At any rate, ph33r my nineties hair, my subtle but present braces, and those awesome, awesome shoulder pads! Enjoy.
