Chicago Savvy Tours was founded in 2008 by former Chicago hotel concierge George Pudlo. They offer a variety of architectural tours and travel services. The Frank Lloyd Wright Tour of Chicago picks up in downtown Chicago and travels to Hyde Park for an interior tour of the Robie House, considered to be the epitome of the Wright's Prairie Style. We then see four other structures designed by Wright in Hyde Park, including some of his earliest projects. We also touch on the Chicago World's Fair of 1893 and University of Chicago history, and drive past President Obama's house. They conduct a comprehensive walking tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District in Oak Park, too, to see more than a dozen houses designed by America's most prolific architect.  The tour lasts approximately 3 hours and with roundtrip transportation included this tour at $45, offered every day except for Tuesdays, is what I call a bang for the buck.

I love Giuliana Rancic and when I heard that her and her husband, Bill Rancic, were partnering with the Melman siblings of Lettuce Entertain You, to open a new restaurant, I knew that RPM Italian would be a hot spot for me. When I am thinking about having a fun time downtown, the River North area is the place to be. Therefore, RPM Italian is a great place to dine before doing it big with a group of friends. I have to say, I've also recommended it to guests at the concierge desk that may need gluten free options, as it has a whole menu dedicated to that. This happening week night spot has me and my friends there, too, dining on some of my favorite items, like the pasta puffs and octopus. The food is above average and with a happening scene, it's why I think it's a must try this week.
