This is a STRICT set speed run. 15-20 seconds at the end isn't enough. 30-40 seconds probably isn't enough unless you are pinpoint in your spinning (and I don't even know how it happened at the end, LOL).

-Don't take the Life Mushroom. If you get hit too much, you're going to run out of time anyways. This is 10-15 seconds to easily save.
-You're going to need to get lucky and/or get pinpoint accuracy on Bouldergeist to clear him. There IS a way as I show to get hits on him with both hands still active, with timing.


EDIT: I hate to shoot off precious star bits, but you can actually save the crucial time you might need for Fiery Dino by turning the black rocks into Bomb Boos immediately with them. Also in the other videos of this mission I've seen, sticking close to Mr. Bouldergeist will always activate the "hand crush" move, which is best to get hits without wasting times destroying the hands.

Just some extra thoughts if you can't get over the hump.
