I've finally finished my Concert Percussion Ensemble piece after 6 months of on and off work.

To Start, tension builds and the storm brews from a calm lake, to a moving river, falling into rapids, and ultimately forming into a large strom. As the storm builds, lightning strikes, seasons change and a snow storm is unleashed; and finally the storm ends. Next, the storm calms and ends, the snow and ice runoff, and the sun appears from behind the horizon for the first time in days. To End the masterpiece, an array of mountains symbolize the journey through the storm and realized calm after the storm. The finale photo of the trees symbolizes the end of a journey, and reaching to new heights of another.

Composed in Finale PrintMusic 2008.
Video made in Windows Movie Maker.
