"Xiamen Daily" video about Bill and Sue Brown, in Xiamen since 1988. In Chinese, but good views of their home, Xiamen university, city, beaches, etc. Ends with Bill singing a short Chinese song he wrote (silly song, of course, about a Laowai--foreign-Xiamen person). We live in a story apartment with 7 families. The University wants to raze the area because the apartments are over 30-years-old, but though small, and old, we love the location--right on the side of the Five Old Man Mountains--so we hope they don't tear it down! We've been in this apartment 22 years now, and hope to stay another 22. We built the surrounding gardens over the years (I made the Chinese pagoda from concrete water pipes, iron rods and chicken wire, covered with concrete and white and green tiles), and two fish ponds, waterfall, etc. Xiamen Daily also wrote, in the early 1990s, that we had a private golf course and swimming pool. Everyone thought we were rich! The 'golf course' is 4 holes, and about 7 meters long; the swimming pool was ten feet long and 3 feet deep. :) Bill mainly teaches Organizational Behavior at Xiamen University MBA Center; Sue works with English corners and many other activities.
