Eat all the meat you want, but the statistics don't lie.  Same with dairy, I gave both up nine years ago after a triple by pass.  My arteries were so clogged I wasn't allowed to go home.  The heart doctor told me if you don't change your diet you'll be back in 10 years, and that scared me enough to change my diet, and I'm 68 and still performing slight of hand magic gigs and feel good.  Oh yah I almost forgot, I got off of my blood pressure meds., that was huge, my sex drive was back in 2 weeks.

IT doesn't matter what you say or what anyone says. Stupid people just want to eat what they want to eat. They don't want to hear anything else. I stopped eating refined white flour and lost 13 lbs in ten days

I believe in karma, we should not killing animal to get food. God give us many kind of plant for food. Plant doesnt feel hurt, plants doesnt feel sad,.. but animal does. Animal ( specially mammals ) are not for food.

They will eat your veggies! You save them by eating them. When nobody buys meat, nobody will raise animals in the current amount.
Edgar Kaufmann
The animals are happy to get food of us and even do not know they will be killed soon too, even when their former neighbor is already dead on the next desk.

Is it natural to eat meat? What really is Natural? Regardless of what you consider "natural" the evidence of the china study is more than enough for me to understand the link between diet and health.  On a vegan diet I have lost 40lbs of fat and now, at 35yrs old, am back to what I weighed in high school. My body has healed itself from multiple problems that  developed over 29 years of a meat and cheese lifestyle. I have seen the tortured animals, I now know the real hidden cost of the industrial animal farming model to our planet and our health. I don't hate those who eat animal products, they are on their own path, and I once walked it as well. I just wish more of us could be open minded enough to experience the healthly explosion of life that can be had from making the humane choice in our eating. Good Luck, and healthy eating:)

"Meat is unnecessary for he human body and people are seriously uneducated to its damaging effects." ... yup and that's the way 'they' like it to stay. You can easily find a contradictory study on anything and that's them fighting back by confusing the masses to protect their profits.

+lucas excellent advice from your own body study. Btw. The Dan guy is a troller. Paid by the meat industry.

I read the China Study. It was very revealing. I have been vegan for over 3 years. I went through many stages. Not eating meat and dairy is just normal to me. I do not feel deprived of flavor and taste whatsoever. My health is very good at 59, I have no negative health issues. I did want to make the point though. How could I possibly judge anyone for their food consumption choices? I ate burgers for breakfast and massive amounts of meat and dairy just a few years ago.

Whether you eat animals or not, you owe it to yourself to watch this in its entirety. After going 100% plant-based in Jan. 2012, within 6 months I lost 25 pounds, was able to discontinue 7 of 8 prescription medications and was no longer pre-diabetic. I have more energy than I have had in 10 years and my husband (cholesterol was high and medicated, well within normal in only 6 months) and I are now healthy happy seniors. By the way, if you also listen to Dr. Esselstyn, you will hear him say that Viagra is unnecessary for the vast majority of male vegans regardless of age. If your "flag doesn't fly" it is the canary in the coal mine, as Dr. Esselstyn would say, for cardiovascular disease.

+JMAX GAMES you are so wrong. However meat and dairy is more addictive then even heroin. If you do not have a black heart as a lot of the paid by the meat and dairy industry trollers here do you will be successful with this tip that helped me and hundreds of others that did this: Go on youtube and watch 3 hours in one setting all at once, non stop slaughterhouse videos. Its not all bad. You will learn what to eat instead, how to deal with family and socially. Date, where to find fellow vegans.

I've been transitioning to a plant based diet and haven't loss any muscle mass like meat advocates claim you will. In fact my workouts are more effective in every way and I feel better all around. Meat can be a treat, but only that, just like alcohol consumption, candy and the like.

Hearing vegan fitness/bodybuilding stories from people like you encourage me to go vegan even more

cant lie ever since I've started reading the china study I get paranoid every time I eat some meat. My conditioning from a young age to eating meat is too strong its hard to shake. Though I've completely cut out drinking cows milk so I guess that's a start

I'm a christian so this is what I think, when God created Adam and Eve he told them to eat plants, fruits etc, but after they have sinned he told them to eat animals. From this point I believe that it is unnatural to eat animals and kill them, that's not what God wanted for us when he created the earth.

The surreal McCoy , The meat is punishment! After ppl started to eat meat their lives got shorter... I'm a Jew , we believe that eventually when the world will be all good, than mankind will no longer eat meat and wouldn't harm animals. but raw unpasteurized milk is good for us , this research was done on pasteurized milk! It is the pasteurization that is making it unhealthy! god blessed US with "milk and honey" but it is blessed the way he made it- not pasteurized and homogeneous...
The surreal McCoy
Interesting logic: God told ppl to do not eat meat, so they did not eat meat. Then god told ppl the opposite: to eat meat, and they ate meat. But what god told them to do is not what god wanted them to do initially. If that were so wouldn't any god with a tad bit of reason just tell ppl to not eat meat again?
