This movie is a 3D reconstruction of a clone of neurons in a zebrafish retina. The clone arose from a single progenitor cell that was transplanted from a multichromatic fluorescing transgenic zebrafish embryo into a normal embryo. The different retinal cell types in this clone are colour coded. The movie was created by Xana Almeida in the Harris lab from a stack of very thin optical sections using a confocal microscope.
