Kevin visits with the Glen Cove EMS and speaks to the youngest EMS Chief, Matt Venturino. Organized in 1985 the Glen Cove EMS provides 24-7 around the clock emergency medical coverage to the citizens of the City of Glen Cove Long Island, NY. They currently staff 3 Advanced Life Support ambulances, a mass casualty trailer and truck, first responder truck, utility van, mountain bikes and a 6x6 Gator along with support vehicles. They protect a 7 sq. mile district with a population of 27,693 in addition to the 12 sq. miles of waterfront and coastline of the Long Island Sound and Hempstead Harbor.

In the second second segment Kevin speaks with Sgt. John Nagle who became the third graduate of the prestigious FBI National Acad- emy in the 93 year history of the Glen Cove Police Department on December 16.
As reported in the Gold Coast Gazette in on January 1, The Academy, internationally known for its academic excellence, offers 11 weeks of advanced investigative, management, and fitness training for selected officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies. It is held at the FBI Academy on the grounds of the U.S. Ma- rine Corps base in Quantico, VA.
