DIY Tutorial:
"Recycling Old Light Bulbs to Create Beautiful Mini Terrariums"

https://www.etsy.com/shop/MEVanDerMaelen

Note: Children wishing to do this project should do so under the supervision of a responsible adult. Protective eye and hand wear is highly recommended when handling glass.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to hollow out an old light bulb in order to use it for a mini terrarium. For instructions on how to assemble the actual terrarium, please visit my Etsy shop and download my Light Bulb Terrarium Instruction Sheet.

This project is recommended for any educators, home school groups, science clubs, and interior designers interested in learning new and clever scientific solutions for their home or organization. Turning old light bulbs into mini terrariums is one eco-friendly way to learn about botany and closed ecosystems.

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED
Goggles or other eye protection
Gloves to protect your hands
Pair of wire cutters
Pair of Pliers
Old light bulb
Nail polish remover (optional)

I always love hearing feedback from you! Let me know how your project worked out and if you want, send me a link to your own DIY ideas in the comment section below! Cheers, m.e.
