I wrote this song inspired by the Martin Luther King speech protesting US aggression in Vietnam. It was written in a Jazz Gospel style for my Keyboard student Mark Miranda in order to give him a practical lesson in the 12 bar blues and improvisation.

Mark joins me along with my guitar student Joanita Fernandes on bass and Kixmet's drummer Leo on Drums. We performed at the Annual Day Concert of our music School in February 2012.

Verse 1:
If I don't live to see tomorrow I won't cry I won't cry
won't fret about fear and doubt
I've seen the love in my brother's eye
I'd gladly burn out and shine a light
I've seen the love in my brother's eye

I've seen the promised land(4)
as my brother's keeper when I take his hand

Verse 2:
Our master is our master how he works I don't know
Or I'd be his master if I knew the master plan for sure
I've known paradise at my mother's breast seen it in my brother's eye
