Digital Twin for Building Automation with Microsoft and NXP

Smart buildings generate enormous amounts of sensor data, from doors and escalators to lights and HVAC systems. NXP microcontrollers process sensor data to predict failure at the edge, and send the information to a digital twin in the Microsoft Azure cloud for machine learning-based apps like preventative maintenance.




The results: Improved uptime by scheduling maintenance before a failure occurs, as well as increased safety for users by shutting down the system before a failure is imminent.
