The story of community efforts to preserve this historic cabin and gather area history to place on display in the Johnson Cabin Museum captured the interest of the Nebraska State Historical Society and the National Park Service. Ruben A. Acosta of the Nebraska State Historical Society explains why we all should be very proud of the Johnson Cabin Museum.

Acosta with the Nebraska State Historical Society. Closing remarks by Blue Springs City Councilman, Radar Reedy. This event was a feature of the annual Blue Springs Celebration.
