I'm a hugger. Anyone who knows me, even slightly, knows that my love language is physical touch, and I am a very affectionate, loving human.
The importance of physical connection and contact to me, is EVERYTHING.
SO at times like this, where we are asked and told to "social distance" and avoid unnecessary human contact, it is VERY challenging for me.
And I am sure it is for you too.
A "self massage" practice is something I have done for a while now, as it not only provides me with an element of physical touch and affection but it enables me to ground, self soothe and to give myself some SELF PLEASURE!

Pleasure isn't a dirty word, and that it what this is intended to teach.
Allow yourself to feel GOOD, to give the body what it is asking for and to find a sense of enjoyment with the self.

When you finish the guided part of this meditation/massage, please feel free to continue a self-guided or un-guided meditation practice.
Sometimes when we have found a place of stillness, it can be so delicious to simply take some extra time just for ourselves and giving permission to simply breathe, exist and soak up the internal serenity.
