M/S Fans jumping over fence and rushing through gate before security arrive to guard the entrance

Security concerns were raised after a group of football fans broke into Rio de Janeiro's Maracana stadium before the start of the match between Argentina and Bosnia & Herzegovina on Sunday.

The fans, mostly dressed in Argentinian shirts, took advantage of the lack of security at one of the stadium's entrances and jumped the fence to enter the facilities. The breach was made in Sector E just a few minutes before the 19:00 local time kick-off.

Argentina won the game 2-1, causing a massive party to take place on Copacabana beach where most of their followers have been gathering since Friday 13.
