A fragment of the concert of the Arciconfraternità del SS. Crocifisso e Monte dei Morti from Sessa Aurunca given the 20th August 2008 during the festival 'Pieśń naszych korzeni' ('The song of our roots') in Jarosław, Poland. The confraternity presented the traditional chants and ceremonies performed every year in their town in the evening of the Holy Wednesday composing the 'Officium Tenebrarum', a special liturgical service of the three last days of the Holy Week. The video presents: the psalm 76, a lesson from the First Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians, the final 'Miserere' and the 'Terraemotus' - knocking with the breviaries in memory of the earthquake after the death of Our Lord. I am sorry for the quality of the video.
