Nice video thanks. I am beginning to think that addictions start with an addiction to a thought pattern. Anyone who meditates can attest to how addicted we are to our thoughts. Otherwise we would be able to stay on our meditation object without our minds wandering into thought. I have noticed that thought precedes the desire to engage in addictive behavior. It arises as thought then it arises as a desire. The heart chakra is also a good thing to work on with addictions as it helps us to move self loathing to self loving thought patterns. Thanks for the great video 😊

I've been smoking bud, cigarettes and drinking since I was 13.....I'm 34.  3 days into giving it all up today. I try to remind myself that no one who ever gave up an addiction has ever regretted it. Its never "Gosh, I wish I was still doing that", its "Gosh, I am so glad I don't do that anymore!".

this video has really inspired me. I'm 19 years old and quite smoking and drinking for 3 weeks now. I'm the only one of all my friends who did stop. I even have this urge to become a vegetarian. Just yesterday I suddenly was very conscious when I ordered Kebab. What gives me the right to kill another living creature? Anyway your a really inspiring person. much of what you said is how I think. Going to watch your other video's. Peace and love!
