Paul Bourne is a professional Theatre Director and a Fellow in Creative Engagement at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. In this talk he takes us on a journey into understanding the evolution of the six characters or ‘faces’ of the theatre and how they can support effective communication impact. He explores how these characters can be used not just in the rehearsal room but also in improving public speaking, business communication and general conversation. Paul questions the core notion of communication by ‘Authentic Self ‘ and explores the possibility of a dynamic and effective ‘Performance-Self”.
